Sweat-Lodge
The Sweat lodge is used for energetic cleansing, healing and spiritual growth. It is a part of the Indian tradition that was evident in almost every culture in the past, but has been forgotten in most places. The current remanant of this the sauna.
During the Ceremony volcanic rocks are heated in a fire and taken into the sweat lodge on four separate occasions. These four events represent the four elements in life; air, water, fire and earth. The fire in which the rocks are heated represents the male, the lodge represents the female. The sweat lodge is seen as Mother Nature’s womb. It is a celebration of life in which we bring the timelessness of the 'now' and become closer to ourselves. The traditional songs sung help to connect with the universe and our own centre. We can ask for support, help and healing.
The group ceremony will take at least three hours. Man participate in shorts and woman in a Sarong/t-shirt or bathing suit.

“Pachamanka” originated in the Inca era. In the Indian Quichua language “Pacha” means earth and “Manka” cooking pan. During this ritual, hot volcanic rocks with vegetables, fruit and vegetables are put in mother earth. This is covered with cabbage leaves and a cloth which is then covered with earth. While the food is simmering it is decorated with flowers and turned into a lovely Andean Alter. The food is pure because there aren’t any supplements like oils and fats added.
When everything is prepared the food will taste delicious, because who would be a better cook then Mother Nature herself.
Pachamanka is a group gathering which takes approximately three hours.

Pipe Ritual
Smoking the Sacred Pipe together is one of the oldest and most widespread rituals in the world. It confirms the connection between family ties and the universe At the individual level it affords us the opportunity to present questions and desires, through the tobacco smoke, into the Universe. The Sacred Pipe consists of two separate parts, the bowl and the stem. The stem represents the male, symbolizing the cosmos, while the head of the pipe is considered feminine and represents the earth. The stem is made of wood and the head of stone or clay. When you merge these two parts is a unit that represents the Universe and has powerful forces. After the ritual, the two segments are separated until another pipe ritual takes place.
The pipe is passed around the group in a circular motion. The person who holds the Sacred Pipe represents the center of the cosmos. In the tobacco shall each his or her personal intention through the smoke to the Universe is sent. Depending on the size of the group, this ritual takes approximately one hour. A Pipe Ritual is a great opening or closing in various meetings. For more information contact us

Limpia
The word “Limpia” can be translated as energetic cleansing a process whereby all negative energies are replaced with positive vibrations. In the Andean highlands this traditional healing method is performed by “Curanderos” (healers) or “Yachacs” (wise people). The knowledge of this process has passed from one generation to another until now . Each town has its own type of healers all of which have their own techniques and specialities. They use items like: Tobacco, Cologne, Herbs, Rocks, Alcohol, Candles and Fire.
What do we mean by negative energy? Every human, animal, creature has an energy field around itself, also known as an aura. Within and through this aura, energy from the environment is recorded and shared. Everything a human or animal experiences is therefore stored and can be accessed in this energy. Experiences that are not processed or releasedare worn as a "ballast" in the subtle bodies. Here, the individual affected, but also the people in his / her environment are affected also. This accumulated energy is always looking for a way out through the body and gets into the atmosphere. Psychological and physical discomfort are the result thereof. Certain areas of the psyche or spirit can also be loaded with negative energy and if we are open to it, we can carry this energy often unconsciously with us. In these cases we are helped via the "limpia" to let go and in order to be brought back to our natural state or center.
In the Andes, negative energy is often translated as "mal viento" (negative energy from nature) or "mal ojo" (negative energy of a person). The individual session of one of the "Yachac's" or "curanderos / as" are available in our area and can be reached quickly and easily on foot, by bus or taxi. If necessary translation from Spanish to Dutch, German or English as possible.
